Project purpose: Assess the impact of Smithsonian-wide activity guide on adolescent tour groups.  
 
Project conclusion: Smithsonian educators gained a focused perspective of the realitites of adolescent tour groups visiting Washington, DC. 
 
Project relevance: SCEMS has systematically collected adn analyzed data about the way in which adolescent tour groups cognitively use and maneuver through the larger Smithsonian museums.  These findings are used to develop new self guides and other educational programming for the Smithsonian.
