Bio

Ms. Oberg has a BA in Anthropology from the American University (1997) and a Masters in Arts and Teaching from the George Washington University Museum Education Program (1999). She is a mid-level professional who has conducted audience research and evaluation since 1999. She has worked as an audience researcher for the Smithsonian Institution, Randi Korn and Associates, and the Institute for Learning Innovation. She opened Oberg Research in 2005. Her audience research focuses include understanding audience motivations for visiting, use of exhibitry for content and social learning, and the ways in which historic information and heritage tourism supplements visitors’ perceptions of self and community. For a CV please contact Ms. Oberg at oberg@obergresearch.com.
